She was built by Canadian Car and Foundry in 1954 for the Canadian National Railroad was Coach No. 5465. A snack bar was added in the early 1980s and the car was renumbered. She ended Canadian service in mid-1995 in the Montreal Commuter Pool and arrived in North Conway in November of 1996. She was named after Carroll P. Reed, one of the founders of Conway Scenic Railroad.
