Our historic station is located in the center of North Conway Village, which offers numerous shops and restaurants, all within a short walk from us. Many of our passengers combine a train ride with a leisurely lunch and enjoy browsing the many interesting, independent stores and boutiques nearby. These are just a few of our favorites:
*Zeb’s General Store, enjoy the nostalgia and quality offered by general stores of yesteryear with products from New England crafts people and cottage industries. Over 5,000 unique products, including an antique penny candy counter.
*North Conway 5 & 10 Store, listed on the National Historic Landmark Register and North Conway’s oldest continually operating retail store
*Soyfire Candle, home of the world’s best soy candle, Beanpod Soy Candles, made in USA.
* The Beggar’s Pouch, a working leather shop since 1978. Quality leather products made by hand, concentration on function, quality and durability.
*The Penquin, really unusual gifts and jewelry with a great children’s section
